What is the Will’s Way Project?
Will Day was such a light in the lives of his family and so many others.
He had many medical problems could not walk or talk but changed lots of lives including mine!
Will faced so many medical tests and procedures with such bravery, and through it all he could always a smile.
One night during Will’s life, his mother Beth dreamed that he was standing up in front of the church singing “This Little Light of Mine, I’m Gonna Let it Shine” Will was never able to stand much less sing but boy has his light shined! This is a way his light can continue to shine.
Will was never in the hospital at Christmas but was at UNC Children’s on Easter 2015 & the support for the children was overwhelming! I wanted to do something for the parents & caregivers as well!
What is with the snail?
Will’s favorite toy was his snail, Gary! Gary was more of a buddy than a toy. Will loved Gary so much!!
